Ships and sunset
Sorry about neglecting this. It's been such a busy August/September! Posting a few pics from the past month. The Robert S Pierson in Marquette, the Joseph L Block in Escanaba, the Saginaw approaching at sunset, and the sun setting over the ore dock in Marquette.

Catching up
Didn't realize how long it's been since I last posted pics. Yikes! Will have to do this in stages. Not sure what order these will appear: Herbert C Jackson with the deer, fleetmates Robert S Pierson and Saginaw, and the H Lee White unloading coal in the lower harbor.

Joe Block, Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder, Tugs Wm Gaynor, Mohawk, Madison
Saw the Joseph L Block leaving the Reiss dock in Escanaba after unloading stone, then heading to the ore dock for a load. Caught the Dorothy Ann/Pathfinder coming under the Mackinaw Bridge, and today MCM tugs William Gaynor, Mohawk, and Madison which are working on the lower harbor breakwall in Marquette. Sorry that the pics are backward, again. This program just won't let you move them once they're posted.

More Mothers Day
Day began with the american Century, Atlantic Huron, Anglian Lady and barge PML 2501, Canadian Transport, and Algosar again.
Mothers Day
The great weekend ended with the Walter J McCarthy, American Integrity, and, best of all, the lovely Edward L Ryerson and a great 3-2 whistle!
Beautiful sun, cold wind, ships! Great day. Pics in two posts.

Mothers Day Weekend at the Soo
My special treat for Mothers Day is a weekend at the Soo. They added a new camera to this, and it was truly a special weekend with family and ships to boot! Posting just a few as Google has size limits. These are from Saturday. The Algosar, Canadian Olympic, Gordon C Leitch, Canadian Prospector, and Perelik being helped by the G tug Missouri.
